    Complete 40 hours of pre-licensing education

    You must complete the 40-hour approved Pre-Licensing Course. Our course is completely online and works at your own pace if you’d like to sign up for that here.

    Complete the course final exam

    After you finish the course, you will need to take an online proctored exam and pass with a minimum score of 75%.

    File your license application

    This application must be filled out and submitted to the Michigan LARA for approval. This application must be done online and submitted before taking the licensing exam and submitted along with the license fee. Click here for more information.

    Pass the Michigan Real Estate Licensing Exam

    PSI Administers the in-person state licensing exam. You will need a 75% or higher to pass this exam. There are 115 questions based on the content outline here. You will have 4 hours to complete the exam.
